Thomas Alva Edison was born in February 11.1847.he was born on a peasant family in American. He was at school only three month. After his mother teach him at home. Him family was so poor that sell newspaper when he was 12 years old. He invent automatic transmitter in he 16 years old. Thomas Alva Edison invents more than two thousand in his life. He was famous for light. And he make the telephone better. It could carry voices a long way. He used the money to build experiment in 1927.he died in October 18 when his eighty four years old. He is a great scientist in the word .his contribute is very big.

Mother Teresa dedicated all her life to take care of the poor and Missionaries of Charity. She was born in Albania and, her real name was Agne Gonxhe Bojaxhiu. Then, in 1928 she went to the Indian’s convent school in Calcutta and there, she took the name Teresa. After nine years she took her final vows (this is a serious promise or swear). When she was 38 years old she left the convent to work alone in the slums (an area with very old buildings in bad condition, where poor people live) then, she received medical training and education in Paris. In 1950 she became a citizen of India. Also, in this year she started the Missionaries of Charity. So, after two years she opened the House for the dying then, in 1957 she started work with lepers (a serious infections disease) in many disaster areas of the world. For her humanitarian work, after 5 years she won her first prize, “ Padma Shri award for distinguished service.” After that, in 1971 Pope Paul VI honors her by awarding her with the first “ Pope John XXIII Peace Prize.” Then eight years later, she received the “Nobel Peace Prize” on behalf of the poor. In 1993 first, she fell down in Rome and broke three ribs, second, hospitalized from malaria in New Delhi and third, she got surgery to clean blocked blood vessels in Calcutta. Then finally she died in Calcutta, India, when she was 87 years old.

El Che Guevara


Ernesto Guevara de la Serna, commonly known as “Che”, was very famous for being a Marxist revolutionary and a political figure in Latin America. He



He was born in June, 1928 in Rosario (Argentina), in a high class family. In 1948 he started to study medicine, but four years later he traveled around Latin America. During this trip he saw poverty and socio-economic inequalities. After that, Ernesto understood that the only way that people can be helped was through a socialist revolution. Then, in 1955, el Che met Fidel Castro and helped him with Cuba’s revolution. He was designated Industry Minister in 1950 and worked very hard; he was internationally known. Meanwhile, he thought about revolution in Congo and then in Bolivia. Six years later he left Cuba and wrote a goodbye letter and quitted all official government positions in Cuba, including his nationality. Then, he went to Bolivia and fought, but he didn’t have the support of his allies. Finally, he was captured by the CIA and the US Army Special Forces. On October 9, 1967 el Che was executed by Bolivian Army. After that, Guevara became an icon of socialism revolution.

the life of LaoShe


LaoShe is contemporary writer and artist. He was born in a destitute family. After he graduated from Teacher school in 1918, he was being a president of elementary school and chinese teacher of NanKai university. Then, he left for the University of London eastern college to be a Chinese language lecturer in 1924 and study writing. In 1929, he came back China and became a professor in QiLu university of JiNan and QingDao university of ShanDong. In 1937, his magnum opus LUOTUOXIANGZI was writen and was translated ten kind of languages, that made big international influence. During the war against Japan explosion, he went down south to leave for behind Hankow and ChongQing. The national literature field of China resisted enemy the association to establish in 1938, he was choose for the director and a director of general management, managing the text to help the daily pursuit. On the creations, take fighting the invading army to save the country as the topic, wrote the multiform literature work. The life of Luxun
Luxun, a great guy in Chinese history, live a wonderful but short life in 20th century. He was born in Shaoxing, in Zhejiang province (that lies in East South in China) in 1881. In 1898, he received a traditional education before he attended Jiangnan Naval Academy. When he was 21 years old, he went to Japan where he studied Japanese language and then medicine at Sendai Provincial School. Four years later, he dropped out of the school to devote himself entirely to writing. After that, he studied privately and returned to China in 1909. Then, in 1910 he was a teacher in Shaoxing. Later, he became a short-story writer, essayist, critic, and literary theorist who were considered one of the greatest figures in the 20th- century Chinese literature. Finally, he died in 1936. However, his compositions are very famous in China although he dies over 71 years.

The life of Sejong Deawang

The life of Sejong Deawang. He was a great of Korea in 1418~1446. He was born in 1397 in Seoul which is capital city of Korea. He is best remembered for creating the native Korean alphabet Hangul. When he was 16, he became a grand prince and married with Soheon. He was an effective military planner. In 1433, he restored Korean territory from the China. Also, he made great impact on Korean history with his introduction of Hangul. He published Hangul in 1446. He also credited with technological advances during his reign. Finally, he died in 1601. He did lots of things during his reign. Every Koreans still respect him.

EnLai Zhou was a famous revolutionist,politician,strategist and diplomat person in China.He was born in JiangSu in 1898.Between 1917-1921,he went to Germany and France to study about political science and strategics,he got a good degree,because he studied very hardly.In 1922,he joined the Chinese government and worked for 11 years.After that,he led his army to fight with Japan in 1933.Then,he eventually led the army to defeat the Japanese in 1948.One year later,he became a Chinese premier.In 1953,he married YingChao Deng,but he doesn't have any child,he thought the citizen was his children as well as he was a poor man, the same as the citizen.Two years later,he opinioned peace in a big world conference.Between 1956-1970,he was in 10 states to communicate and study about different culture and advanced production.Although,he got sick but he still worked hardly until he dead in 1976 in BeiJing...

JAIME ROLDOS AGUILERA


Jaime Roldos Aguilera has been a famous person in my country. First of all, he was born in 1940 in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Because he came from a poor family, he started to work when he was 10 years old, (he worked selling candies). Next, he was an excellent student and he graduated from the university called Santiago of Guayaquil University as a lawyer. He got a grant to travel and study in one of the universities of Belgium, (Belgium University) and he graduated in 1969. After he came back to Ecuador, he married Ann Roldos when he was thirty years old. Then, he came to Chicago to improve his studies and two years later he graduated from the University of Illinois (U.I.C.). After that, he started his career and he was considerate as one of the most qualities lawyers in Ecuador for eight years when after that he won the elections as the new President of Ecuador. Finally he was famous for the Ecuadorians because he was the only person who tried to change our country but when he was doing the effort, unfortunately his presidency was over because when he was traveling to Loja city, his airplane fell down and it burned in 1981. It has stayed marked in the Ecuador life because nobody knows who caused this accident and it will be forever.

Sejong the great of Josen


Sejong was the third son of King Taejong. When he was sixteen, he became grand prince " Chungyeong" and married a daghter of Sim on of Cheongsong, commonly known as Lady sim, who later was given the title Princess - Consort Soheon. In June 1418, King Teajong addicated and Sejong was crowned king of Joseon and begen his rule. Sejong eastablished the Hall of Worthies in 1420 in the rayal palace. He was the fourth king of the Choson Dynastyof Korea. He is best remembered for creating the native Korean alphabet Hangul, despite strong opposition from the scholars educated in hanja(Chinese script.) Sejong died at the age of 53 and was buried at the Yeong Mausoleum in 1450. His successor was his first son, Munjong. The street Seojongno and the Seojong center for the Performin, Arts - both located in central Seoul - are named after king Sejong, and he is depicted on the South Koean 10,000 won note.

Zhou Enlai


Zhou Enlai was one of the greatest Chinese Communist Leaders. He was born in Jiangsu province, China, in 1898. When he was a young man, he studied in a university in Japan. Then he moved to France at age 22, for helping the branch of the Chinese Communist Party. He established the Chinese Communist Youth Group during these two years. He returned to China in 1924. Three years later, he directed a strike in Shanghai, against the forces from Jiang Jieshi. Then in 1934-35, he joined the Long March. The People's Republic of China was established in 1949, after that, Zhou became the premier and foreign minister of China. In his whole life, Zhou did many good things for the people. He kept on working though he became ill in later years. Finally, he died in 1976, but he would live in our heart forever.

Chingis Khan






Chingis Khan (1162-1227)


Chingis Khan was the greatest ruler in the Mongolian history. He was originally named as Temuujin and he was from a noble background. In 1206, Temuujin became the king and earned his name as Chingis Khan, by uniting all the separated tribes into one nation and he called it Mongols. His great ability to lead his army and his smart tactics on the battlefield led him to greater conquest than just becoming the king of Mongols. His army was mostly horseman and horse archers which gave him advantage of traveling much farther places with short amount of time. One of his best strategy on the battlefield was use his enemies fear to submit them. After his death Mongols expanded from East Europe all the way to Korea, and half of Russia to south of East Asia. Before he died, he divided his territory to his four sons (Zuch, Tsagaadai, Ogoodei, & Tului) and a pointed Ogoodei, the third son, as a next king of Mongols. Chingis Khan died on August, 18th 1227, but he lived through his sons and grandchildren to continue what he has started. Until this day nobody is sure how he died and even where he was buried. Chingis Khan made a history that could never be repeated by anyone.

Akira Kurosawa


Akira Kurosawa was one of the most famous Japanese film directors, produced a lot of films in history and had influences to famous film directors in their current activities. He was born in the suburb of Tokyo in 1910. When he was 26 years old, he started to learn on the director trainee program in a major film studio in Tokyo, and in 1943, he made debut with “Sanshiro Sugata”; story about young and strong man traveled to learn self-defense. And then, he released “Rashomon”- one of the masterpiece monochrome films, shot in 1950- made him famous and won the Golden Lion at Venice film Festival in 1951. Four years later, he released “Seven Samurai” it made great hit and made him internationally famous. Early 1960, he owned his film company, Kurosawa Production, and released several fine works, and these films established his position in international cinema industry. Although the evaluation for his works were vary from and after “Red Beard” (his first color film released in 1965), there were many influences to filmmakers world wide. They inspired by his techniques using multiple cameras for shooting action scenes, also Kurosawa world in his works were very attractive. After 1970, he produced his works every 5 years because of his health and declining of cinema industry in Japan. He continued to make films in his lifetime. “Kagemusha” in 1980(produced with his big fan George Lucas and Francis Coppola) and “Ran” in 1985(collaborated with France film studio) were his masterpiece in his later year. He left lots of fine works and died in 1998 when he was 89 years old. We can find his influence’s traces left in films “Star Wars”, “God father”, and so on. Akira Kurosawa was a great producer in Japan and world film history.

Luis Carlos Galan, was a Colombian journalist and liberal politician, he ran for the presidency for two opportunities, His honorable career started since his childhood Galan studied middle school in The Colegio Americano, while he was studying he attended a protest against the dictorial regimen and intented to support the liberal parties. After, he started his studies of law and economy in the Ponfificia Universidad Javeriana, one of the most important universities in Bogota, during his studies he founded the Vertice magazine, a university magazine which he expressed his political tendencies that helped him to become his first experience with journalism. In 1965 after his graduation, he started working for Colombian newspaper El tiempo, which Galan turned himself into a well know journalist and columnist. He was also active with Nueva Frontera weekly magazine which Galan wrote no less than 150 editorial articles, which he denounced the existence of clientlist politics, corruption that affected the Colombian future. Therefore He was becoming popular for his open criticism against violence and mafias. Meanwhile the Colombian people, who were not agree with his denounces and his increased power tried to kill him, after he received several death threats, on August 18, 1989 Galan was shot to death by hit man hired by the drugs cartel in the town in Soacha Cundinamarca. Colombia has been influenced by many politics but Luis Carlos Galan was a representative and important politician in Colombian history.

The life of Deng Xiaoping


  Deng Xiaoping was one of the greatest people in Chinese history. He was born in Sichuan province in 1904. When he was 20 years old, he joined the Chinese Communist Party, at that time, he was studying in France. Two years later, he became an organizer of the pary in Southwest of China. He joined the Ling March in 1934, it lasted two years. Then in 1981, Deng initiated "responsibility system" for farmers. After 3 years, he dealt with the return of Hong Kong. Finally, he died in Beijing at age 93.

The life of Mao Zedong


  Mao Zedong was Chinese most prominent communist during the 20th century. He was born in the village of Shaoshan, Hunan province in China in 1893. At age 27, Mao attended the First Congress of the Chinese Party in Shanghai in Jly. Two years later, he was elected to the Central Committee of the party. During the following three years, he helped established the Chinese Soviet Republic in Southeast of China, and was elected as the chairman. Then in 1937, WWII broke down. Mao led Red Army soldiers against Japanese Army, and China won in the war after eight years of fighting. After WWII, he was elected the chairman of China. Finally, Mao died in Beijing in 1976, completed his glorious life.

The life of Ze Dong Mao

The life of Ze Dong Mao (1893-1976) was a great leader proletariat of revolutionary, politician


in china. He was born in Hunan of a famer family. In 1935,the govement had a meeting to


establish him as a political leader. While 1973 to 1945, he lead the soldiers to the war with


Japan. During the war ,under his lead ,they defeated the Japanese aggressor, emancipated the


people of all country and built the new China. ON october 1,1949 the people 's Republic of China


was bulit and he was elected as a center chairman. the most interesting thing was that he staged


the education of village and city school during 1963-1945. Then, most people become cultured,


found a good job ,and the standard of living was improved. He died in 1976. Even though he


died, everyone shall repect him forever!!

Benito Pablo Juárez García

Benito Juárez was born in March 21st in 1806 in a village of Oaxaca, Mexico and he would later

become one of the Mexico's greatest leaders. He was a lawyer and judge,then later create `Plan


of Ayutlá tha the basis was for a liberal revolution in Mexico. After a bankruptcy, in 1961 Juarez
was elected President for a four year period. Meantime,French try to establish a conservative

regime in Mexico, then the Congress grant to Benito a extension of the presidency. Finally, the

forces were defeated and controversially Juarez was re-elected President. At least he had a five

terms as a President. In the end, while he was working in his desk Benito Juarez died of a heart

attack in 1872.

The life of Deng Xiaoping


Deng Xiaoping was the Chinese people of all nationalities recognized enjoying high prestige outstanding leader. He was born on August 22 1904.in the summer of 1920, he graduated from the Chongqing preparatory school. Had just turned 16, he lived and studied in Paris from (1920-1927). After that, at the same year he was appointed chief secretary of the central committee. In October 1934, he became Deputy and then Director of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. Later on, when he was 50 years old he became secretary general of the Chinese communist party in 1954. For 51 years of the hard working he elected leader of china during 1978-1989. As well known is Deng Xiaoping that the agreement of Hong Kong's return has finally been reached between China and England. It was he who creatively conceived the idea of “one country with two systems” in 1997. Finally he died in Beijing on February 19 1997 at age 92. Although he already passed away, but he will live in people’s heart forever.
